These two chapters are all about finding your argument. Chapter twelve is about setting up your thesis statement, while chapter thirteen is about the actual argument you will have about your subject.
I think that some of the information can be shifted around, so you find a statement to have and settle on an argument, then come up with your thesis after you have a specific argument to go off of. These chapters will help us keep our paper organized, and help us find where we stand with our topics. We can always look back at our thesis to keep our paper following it, and if we realize that our thesis should be different, then we can update it or change it to fit how we really feel.
